The Challenge :

  • Build a new Shared Service Functions in Procurement for Indirect Categories to support globally from Malaysia

  • Intention to build the hub in KL with 70 headcount required to support a spend in excess of one billion dollars

  • 6 months time frame to terminate existing operations from 3rd party company

  • Candidates needed to be progressively hired on specific timelines 

Our Solution :

  • Design and identify the needs of assessment criteria including exercises, EVP, candidate engagement, project implementation workflow and agree on reporting and decision management dimensions

  • Mobilize a team of specialist and admin coordinator onsite to drive assessment, interviews, HR admin, offers and process management

  • Provide continuous support to assist in building the other associated business team

  • Facilitate offsite with periodic stakeholder meetings

The Results :

  • 2 Weeks ahead of timeline with a total hire of 230% ahead of budget

  • $120k worth of savings driven by Direct Sourcing and Project Management
